Established in 1967, Jones Pharmacy has become one of the most recognized pharmacies in the area.
Greeting the customer with a smile and asking about the family has added to the family type atmosphere that this store brings. Jones Pharmacy also carries gifts with brands such as Arthur Court, Carlton, Christopher Radko, for Birthdays, Weddings, and Special Occasions.
Jones RPH Gerald grew up in Cullman County and graduated from Fairview High School in 1959. He then attended and graduated from St. Bernard College and then went on to graduate from Samford University School of Pharmacy in 1966.
He and his wife Jacqueline have operated a pharmacy and served Arab and the surrounding communities since that time. They have 2 children, David and his wife Pam, Tiffany and her husband Ben, and one granddaughter Bennett.
In March of 2016, Gerald was recognized by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy for being a Registered Pharmacist in the state of Alabama for 50 years!! Gerald has been a member of APA for many years.
Tiffany grew up in Arab and graduated from Arab High School in 1987.
She attended the University of Alabama and Graduated from Samford School of Pharmacy in 1993.
She loves being back in Arab working with her family and serving Arab and the surrounding communities.
Tiffany is married to Ben Elrod and in 2007 they were blessed with a precious daughter, Bennett.
She is a member of APA and honored to serve on the Arab Education Foundation and is a founding member of the Marshall County Women's Guild.
Alicia grew up in Arab and graduated from Arab High School in 2005.
She started working at Jones Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician while attending Snead State Community College, and continued to work during summers and holidays while attending McWhorter School of Pharmacy at Samford University. She graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2011.
Before rejoining Jones Pharmacy, she was employed by Publix Pharmacy. Alicia and her husband, Daniel, have a precious daughter named Lily.
Randy grew up in Perry Georgia and graduated from Perry High School in 1973.
He served in the U.S. Navy from October 1974 to October 1978.
In March of 1985, he graduated from Auburn University School of Pharmacy.
He was a member of the APA Legislative Committee from 1991 to 1993.
In 2006, he became a PCCA certified compounding pharmacist and in 2007 became an APHA Certified Immunization Pharmacist.
He and his wife Susan have 3 children, Mallory, Rebecca and her husband Nathan Hanner, and Tyler. In 2015, they welcomed their grandson Huck Hanner to the family .
